The alphabet is tightly woven into our babies’ and children’s lives through books, songs, and toys. So it is a great idea to use the alphabet as the theme for a baby shower.

Letters of each guest’s name can be used as can be used as name place cards at the table, with “M for Mama-to-be” of course! Letters can also be used on the food table to label each delicious dish being served at the event, such as C for cupcakes that can be a budget-friendly addition to the event.

We love the idea of guests drawing a picture for a letter of the alphabet or paint alphabet blocks, which can then become special keepsakes for the new baby — and a fun way to learn its ABCs.
